SmoothCoat Technology, a patent-pending development by Dog Shammy, is an active, negative ion generator installed in the motor housing of the dryers. For single dryers, Smoothcoat Technology produces 3 million negative ions. On dual dryers, it doubles to 6 million negative ions.
Negative ions counter the ions developed when hair and fur is dried. This technology permits the coat to lay flat without frizziness or flyaway hair. The result is a smooth, healthy coat that is show quality.
Additionally, Smoothcoat assists in de-matting and in faster drying time. It is available on all Dog Shammy dryers.
